Mr. Janardhana Anjanappa is a leading voice in climate finance and sustainable development, with over 16 years of international experience spanning policy advisory, clean energy investment, and climate risk management. As the Founder and CEO of TYCHE Investments, he leads a pioneering platform that bridges finance, technology, and policy to deliver scalable climate solutions across emerging markets. 

Janardhana’s academic foundation combines engineering and finance—holding a Master’s in Investment Banking and International Economics from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BMS College, India. This unique blend of technical and financial expertise underpins his work in designing innovative financial instruments, de-risking private sector investments, and advising governments and multilateral institutions.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to high-impact initiatives with organizations such as the MOE - JAPAN, UNDP, UNEP DTU, UNEP SWITCH ASIA, USAID, World Vision, IISc Bangalore, IDRC Canada, and SEI Asia. His focus areas include blended finance, just transitions, renewable energy scale-up, and climate adaptation strategies especially in regions vulnerable to climate shocks.

A prolific researcher, Mr. Anjanappa has authored over 50 publications on renewable energy financing, adaptation strategies, and just transition frameworks. His efforts continue to shape policies and investments that drive climate resilience, environmental justice, and inclusive green growth. His insights are shaping the next generation of climate investment strategies—helping countries and companies align their growth with climate goals.
